CLR PRO® Metal Cleaner

CLR PRO Metal Cleaner is a non-corrosive, multipurpose cleaner which cleans and enhances the appearance of metals and precious as well as semi-precious stones. Aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, chrome, pewter, gold, rose gold, nickel, silver plate, sterling silver, titanium, palladium, tungsten and cobalt can be cleaned as well as shined. CLR Metal Cleaner can also be used on stainless steel except on household appliances where emulsion type of cleaning products are required. This cleaner is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, acids, bases and bleach. Do not use Metal Cleaner on marble, pearls, opals or other porous stones.

NSF Approved under the non-food compounds category to be used in food processing, food storage and food service facilities.

CLR PRO Metal Cleaner is available in 1 gallon, 5 gallon pail and 55 gallon drum.

Lauramine Oxide
Surfactant: CAS #1643-20-5. Used in cleaners to modify the surface tension of water, to aid in even spreading and to allow mixing with oil and dirt so that they can be rinsed away; it is included in many soaps, detergents, and several groups of antiseptics. As part of the EPA Safer Choice Program, it has been evaluated and determined to be safer than traditional chemical ingredients.
Gluconic Acid
Chelating Agent: CAS #526-95-4. This ingredient is an acid formed from the sugar glucose, which naturally occurs in fruit, honey and wine. It is a chelating agent; a compound that makes metals more soluble in water. As part of the EPA Safer Choice Program, it has been evaluated and determined to be safer than traditional chemical ingredients.
Tripropylene Glycol n-Butyl Ether
Solvent: CAS #55934-93-5. Used to slow down the evaporation of many liquid products including oven cleaners and inks for ball-point and felt-tip pens. It is very effective at absorbing organic material. As part of the EPA Safer Choice Program, it has been evaluated and determined to be safer than traditional chemical ingredients.

Dilutent: CAS #7732-18-5. Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a water treatment process that removes contaminants from water by passing the water through a membrane, (filter), where contaminants are filtered out yielding more pure quality water.
Sodium Gluconate
Chelating Agent/Processing Aid. CAS #527-07-1. A salt of gluconic acid. It acts as a chelating agent that makes metals more soluble in water and is a processing aid commonly used in household cleaning products. It is often found in bar soap, sunscreen, shampoo, toothpaste and a variety of other products as well.  As part of the EPA Safer Choice Program, it has been evaluated and determined to be safer than traditional chemical ingredients.
Sodium Citrate
pH Adjuster, Cleaning Agent and Preserve: CAS #6132-04-3. Sodium citrate is a salt of citric acid. Citric acid is a weak acid that is widely found in both plants and animals. It is a natural ingredient that is common in citrus fruits. It is often used as a pH adjuster, water softener, cleaning agent and preservative. As part of the EPA Safer Choice Program, it has been evaluated and determined to be safer than traditional chemical ingredients.
5-Chloro-2-Methyl-2H-Isothiazol-3-one (MCI)
