How to keep spots off your clothes from hard water

Dolores from New York writes, "When I wash clothes sometimes there are spots on the clothes. Would using CLR help clean the washing machine?" In time, calcium deposits can build up on the inside of washing machines causing unsightly spots on clothes. We recommend using  CLR® Calcium, Lime & Rust Remover. This product is formulated to get rid of calcium, lime, and rust deposits from inside washing machines. Check out our video and you can see how to clean your washing machine.

Or follow these simple steps:
1. For top-loading washing machines, pour 1/2 cup of CLR into the bottom of the washing machine.
2. Run a medium-load, warm-water wash / cold-water rinse cycle with CLR only.
3. When finished, run a water-only rinse cycle to rinse the CLR out of the machine.
4. You're done!

CLR contains no inorganic phosphates, hazardous solvents or environmentally harmful surfactants. Instead, CLR contains a blend of ingredients which are better for your health and that of the environment than conventional cleaning formulas.
